IFS Food is an internationally recognized standard witin the food industry, verifying a company's ability to maintain food safety. The standard is based on the HACCP principles (hazard analysis critical control points) and places very high demands on the mapping and documentation of how we at BKI foods control and enforce food safety.

Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's smiley scheme for food safety
BKI foods has obtained the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's 'happy smiley', which is the highest ranking a food company can be awarded in Denmark. The smiley scheme indicates how well food companies adhere to the legal requirements for food handling and safety.
BKI foods undergoes annual and unannounced inspections by the Danish food authorities. As a certified company BKI foods complies with current Danish food safety legislation.
